Happy Fall

Today is the first day of my favorite season. I love it, and I hope it will snap me out of whatever rut I seem to be in. Hub Hub and I first planned a fall wedding, actually for this October. In the end we decided to get married as close to our original anniversary as possible. We are planning on a trip to Rhode Island when the leaves start turning wonderful colors, so maybe we will got he weekend we were originally going to get married. That would be bittersweet.

By far the best season of the year, between the mouth watering smells, the brisk air, the lil bit's imaginations running wild in their costumes, the dynamic leaves.. ohhhh the beautiful colors of the foliage. And of course for all of us couch potatoes.. the fall season premieres!!

The sound of leaves crunching below us has the most calming effect that no one ever truly realizes. I just seems to welcome you. It is almost as if we wait the whole year, just for this. The Spring is months full of rain, the Summer full of sweat, and the Winter is just a pain in the ass. But when Fall comes around, everyone emerges from their shell, and embraces life again. And I am looking forward to embracing whatever comes ahead.....
