Tomorrow I am meeting with the realtor and possible tenants. I am completely baffled and want to crawl into my bed and hide. Please?
The first meeting we had with the Realtor went smoothly and Hub Hub and I both fell in love. She was impressive. Down to earth, straightforward, someone I could definitely see us working with, and not have her throwing things at me when I ask the really stupid questions I know myself to ask. When anything comes to the amount of money that has been worked hard for by, and our future, there is no messing around. Why not put a little more hard work and elbow grease into doing things the right way, and not go into it blindfolded. I did my best to educate myself and figure out what I need to be doing on my part, but that's also why I hired this Realtor, so she can inform me, so she can educate me, so she can help.
We met her at our condo on a Saturday, went over
the details of the place, chatted, signed a contract and hired her. Because I obviously don't keep a jumbo copy machine in my empty condo, she would have to email me a copy of the agreement. Which , I was told she would do later that evening. This was a little over a month ago, I still have not received it, even after asking for it at two other times. Instances like this have occurred ever since that Saturday. That was just one example, saying I would get a copy of the lease on a certain day, then 3 days go by and I get it then. Saying she will call me back and in the end not calling at all.

When you have her on the phone she is wonderful, but the lack of communication and follow through is spreading me too thin. We are doing the walk through tomorrow, and I still haven't even signed the lease. There is also something that was added in by the tenants that I picked up on while reading through the gibberish, that she failed to mention. It is leaning more towards her working for the tenants than for us. It is just about 4:30 and I still have not heard from her regarding my email that I sent this morning, or my call.
Therefore just an easy pay day coming her way..
Seriously does anyone actually work anymore?
