I am apologizing ahead of time, because this might end up being a complete blog full of words that make no sense.

Hub Hub, and I are battling with an evil Aunt. She is tearing us to shreds and we can't do a thing about it.

She owns the house Hub Hub's parents live in, the one we just moved into. They live on the first floor of a three family house. They also have the basement apt. His Aunt is basically trying to justify to us that we need to pay her for staying in the extra bedroom his parents already pay for in there rental fee. She pays for the water and heating bill and informed us that since there will be two additional people there now that those bills will increase. There is no way we will be adding on $250 worth of water. Sorry sweetheart, not buying it. She is also trying to rent out the basement apt which we have all of our belongings in, which is also included in the rent his parents pay.

Because his parents have lived in this house forever, they never saw it fit to get a lease made up. Now we are paying for it.
She left us with two options. Pay $250 just for staying in the third bedroom, FOR A BEDROOM, or $500 for the basement apartment. Both of which is morally wrong and illegal. You can't charge someone more for a bedroom that is already included in some one's rent. She keeps feeding us all this bullshit about taxes going up, and the water bill, and heat. I think it's strange that when Hub Hub did some investigating he found that the taxes actually went down since the value of the house dropped, and since we have only been there 3 weeks, there is now way she has gotten the water bill yet, and it the heat hasn't been turned on since last year.

This woman is making the whole family literally sick. Hub Hub is walking around like a heart broken zombie. He had such an amazing relationship with her, and considered her a second mother. I hate that he has to see this side of her. He was always on the good receiving line, and now he has his heart broken. His father is sick to his stomach, his mother isn't sleeping, and I am being shoved back into my black hole of depression. I knew what kind of woman she was, I knew she was a money hungry lying selfish bitch. I knew this because I am always quick to judge, and this time I called it.
I have no issues with helping pay for anything, as long as it is justified. This woman is lying, and charging us illegally and I can't do a thing about it. That's what makes this so difficult. We really do NOT want to move back to our condo. Not after the whole process of moving, and changing things all over again. But mostly because since we moved here, closer to work, and closer with our families, we haven't been happier in a long time. The condo is just so far, and we were barricading ourselves in those four walls. We don't want to have to do that all over again.
The fact that this is a family member is making it a million times worse. This is the exact opposite of what family is about. And I wonder why I have no faith in anything anymore.
